BBNaija: Neche quits reality show days after becoming Head of House
Big Brother Naija Season 11 housemate, Neche, has withdrawn from the reality show, shortly after taking over as Head of House.
Neche announced her decision to the other contestants after Sunday’s live eviction show, telling them that she had decided to leave the competition.
The housemate did not give a reason for her decision.
She gathered the contestants in the lounge and informed them of her intention to leave, leaving several housemates visibly emotional.
After making the announcement, Neche removed her microphone and name tag before proceeding to the diary room to complete the process of her exit.

Her unexpected departure has since generated reactions among viewers, with some fans questioning the reason for her decision and others speculating that the development could be part of a twist planned by the show’s organisers.
Neche’s exit comes just weeks into the 2026 edition of the reality show, themed ‘Show Ya Sef’.
The season premiered on July 26 with 24 housemates competing for a ₦160 million grand prize.
Before Neche’s departure, Martins and Mercedes had become the first housemates to leave the competition after their eviction, while Kamsy was evicted during Sunday’s live show.
Neche’s voluntary withdrawal means the number of contestants competing for the grand prize has now been reduced further, as attention shifts to the circumstances surrounding her sudden decision to leave the house.
