Emmanuel Musa Joins Adamawa 2027 Gubernatorial Race
Dr. Emmanuel N. Musa, a prominent philanthropist and founder of the Emnamu Foundation, has joined the race for the 2027 governorship of Adamawa State, drawing strong support from different groups across the state.
Musa’s entrance into the political scene comes after months of consultations and appeals from various stakeholders, including civil society organisations, student groups, and local associations, who believe his track record in humanitarian work positions him as a credible alternative for leadership.
Known for his hands-on approach to community service, Musa has earned respect for his foundation’s work with internally displaced persons and low-income families.
Over the years, he has funded healthcare initiatives, paid hospital bills, planted thousands of trees, distributed vehicles to remote areas, and provided support for small businesses with over N500 million in grants.

His Chief of Staff, Comrade Kukuya Godwin, confirmed the development, stating that the decision was in response to growing public demand for fresh leadership in the state.
“Dr. Musa has listened to the calls from across Adamawa. He is ready to offer a new vision for the state,” Kukuya said, adding that discussions are ongoing with various political parties, though a final decision on platform will be made later.
Dr. Musa’s entrance is already stirring political interest, with many analysts describing him as a strong contender with deep grassroots influence.
His supporters say he could build on the achievements of Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, particularly in infrastructure and public service.
