Tinubu Celebrates Dangote at Birthday, Hails His Impact on Africa’s Economy and Humanity
President Bola Tinubu has extended heartfelt birthday wishes to Africa’s richest man and leading industrialist, Alhaji Aliko Dangote, commending his outstanding contributions to Nigeria’s economic growth and Africa’s industrial transformation.
In a statement released on Thursday by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, President Tinubu described Dangote founder and President of the Dangote Group as a visionary entrepreneur whose innovation and resilience have redefined African business.

“Aliko Dangote’s life embodies hard work, generosity, and unwavering belief in Nigeria’s potential. His investment in people and infrastructure shows his deep commitment to national growth and human progress,” Tinubu said.
Highlighting Dangote’s influence across various sectors including cement, agriculture, and the newly launched Dangote Refinery, President Tinubu noted that these ventures are vital to Nigeria’s pursuit of economic self-reliance and job creation.
“Through his industrial ventures, Dangote has played a key role in Nigeria’s journey toward economic sovereignty,” the President added.
President Tinubu also praised the humanitarian work of the Dangote Foundation, which has impacted millions across Africa through initiatives in health, education, and poverty alleviation.
