FRSC Urges Safe Driving for Easter
News:
The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) in Ogun State has called on motorists to drive responsibly during the Easter holiday to avoid preventable accidents.
Speaking in Ota on Tuesday, the Ifo Unit Commander, Mr. Memee Timothy, warned against speeding, reckless overtaking, and driving against traffic. He noted that such behaviours often lead to needless loss of lives during festive periods.
Timothy also cautioned against overloading and driving under the influence, urging road users to prioritise safety while travelling.
He said FRSC officers would be stationed at strategic points across Ogun State to manage traffic, respond swiftly to emergencies, and ensure compliance with road safety laws.
