Oliseh Warns Osimhen Against Galatasaray Move, Urges Premier League Switch

Former Super Eagles coach, Sunday Oliseh, has cautioned Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen to tread carefully as rumours intensify over a possible move to Turkish side Galatasaray.

In a post on X, formerly Twitter, Oliseh described Osimhen’s current career situation as a “delicate crossroad,” urging the Napoli forward to prioritise a move to the Premier League. “He needs to find his way to the Premier League in a hurry or he risks so much regret! Man. United and Arsenal need this player if only…..” Oliseh wrote.

Osimhen, 26, has been linked with a return to Galatasaray, where he once had a successful loan spell, scoring 26 goals and helping the club to a league title. But Oliseh believes a move to England’s top flight would better serve his long-term career and global profile.

With age becoming a factor in potential transfer deals, some Premier League clubs are reportedly hesitant to make a major financial commitment. Analysts warn that further delay could hurt Osimhen’s chances of securing a high-profile move.

Although still under contract with Napoli until 2026, Osimhen’s future at the club appears uncertain. Reports in Italy suggest new manager Antonio Conte does not see him as part of his plans and may sideline him ahead of the new season.
