‘Harry Potter’ Duo Banned from Driving After Speeding
Two actresses from the “Harry Potter” film series, Emma Watson and Zoe Wanamaker, have been handed six-month driving bans after separate speeding offences in the UK.
Emma Watson, 35, best known for her role as Hermione Granger, was caught driving at 38 miles per hour in a 30-mile zone in Banbury last July. She was fined £1,044 and received penalty points that led to an automatic disqualification.

Zoe Wanamaker, 76, who played Madame Hooch in Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, was also banned for six months after she was recorded driving at 46 miles per hour in a 40-mile zone on the M4 motorway in Berkshire in August.
The cases were handled individually by magistrates in High Wycombe, and neither actress appeared in court. Watson, who is currently studying at Oxford University, had her lawyer confirm she was able to pay the fine.
