The rapper had earlier teased the release of Iceman, but fans were surprised when two additional companion albums — Habibti and Maid of Honour — arrived alongside it.
The extensive project marks one of Drake’s biggest releases in recent years and comes after the artist largely maintained a lower public profile following his highly publicized feud with Kendrick Lamar. The rivalry gained widespread attention after Lamar’s diss track Not Like Us dominated conversations across the music industry.
Several major artists also feature on the newly released projects, including Future, 21 Savage and Sexyy Red.
Drake also appeared to revisit his rivalry with Lamar in one of the new songs. On Make Them Remember, the rapper reportedly takes aim at Lamar with remarks referencing the Pulitzer Prize-winning artist’s height, reigniting attention around their previous lyrical exchanges.
Beyond Lamar, the project is also said to contain sharp comments directed at other figures, suggesting that Drake may not be stepping away from controversy anytime soon.
