As she accepted the Women Icon Leader of the Year 2025 award, she expressed profound gratitude, noting that this recognition was not solely hers, but rather a testament to the collective efforts of numerous individuals who have worked tirelessly to promote women’s health, economic empowerment, and overall well-being. “I am deeply humbled to receive this prestigious award, and I accept it as a celebration of the unwavering commitment of women and men who have dedicated their lives to improving the lives of women in Nigeria and beyond,” she said.
