Viera praised President Tinubu’s participation in the G-20 summit in Brazil last November, highlighting Nigeria’s valuable contributions to the global forum. He expressed hopes that President Tinubu would return to Brazil soon, emphasizing the desire for deeper bilateral ties.
Ambassador Tuggar noted the strong historical bonds between Nigeria and Brazil, citing Brazil’s attendance at Nigeria’s independence celebration as a testament to their enduring relationship. The two nations share commonalities in size, economy, population, and culture, making this visit a natural progression of their partnership.
The invitation is expected to pave the way for high-level talks between Nigerian officials and their Brazilian counterparts, with agreements aimed at strengthening bilateral ties on the horizon. This development comes as President Tinubu seeks to enhance economic cooperation with Brazil, including the establishment of direct flights between the two nations.
