Prominent businessman Aliko Dangote, alongside former ministers Isa Pantami (Communications and Digital Economy) and Pauline Tallen (Women Affairs), were also in attendance, underscoring Buhari’s broad influence across politics and industry.

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, alongside traditional rulers and religious leaders, was expected to join the continuing funeral proceedings in Daura — Buhari’s ancestral home and the place he always returned to after public service.

Though the former president’s body now rests in the soil of his homeland, the impact of his leadership continues to stir reflections across the nation. His passing marks the end of an era  one that will remain etched in Nigeria’s political history.
