Renowned entrepreneur, Dr. Obinna Iyiegbu, popularly known as “Obi Cubana”, has announced plans to establish a tricycle assembly plant in Ebonyi State.
This move is part of his company’s expansion plans in the state, driven by the peaceful environment, enhanced security, and improved infrastructure under Governor Francis Nwifuru’s administration.
Obi Cubana, Chairman of Cubana Group of Companies, expressed his confidence in Ebonyi as a viable ground for investment and economic growth. He commended Governor Nwifuru for creating an enabling environment for businesses to thrive, making Ebonyi a preferred investment destination.
“The current administration in Ebonyi has provided a conducive environment for businesses to flourish,” Obi Cubana stated. “We are impressed with the governor’s efforts to improve infrastructure, enhance security, and promote economic development. These factors have attracted our interest to invest in the state.”
The tricycle assembly plant will not only provide employment opportunities but also contribute to the state’s economic growth through industrialization and agro-business ventures. Obi Cubana assured that visible progress would be made on his investment plans in Ebonyi within the coming months.
“As renowned businessmen, we cannot continue investing in other states while neglecting Ebonyi,” Obi Cubana emphasized. “One of our major partners is from Ebonyi, and we are committed to supporting the state government’s job creation efforts. This will be achieved through industrialization and agro-business ventures.”
