Sokoto Youths Decry Rising Insecurity, Warn of Self-Defence Move
Youths in Shagari Local Government Area of Sokoto State have expressed frustration over worsening insecurity in their communities.
The group, led by youth activist Bello Bala Shagari, said repeated bandit attacks, kidnappings, and displacement had left residents vulnerable and desperate.
In an online meeting, the youths declared that if government fails to provide adequate protection, they may be forced to defend themselves.
They appealed to both the Sokoto State and Federal Governments to urgently deploy security forces to safeguard lives and restore peace.
