Drone Attack on Ukrainian City Injures Mother and Two Children
A Russian drone strike on the Ukrainian city of Dolynska overnight has injured a mother and her two children, forcing residents to evacuate from their apartment.
Andriy Raikovych, the governor of the Kirovohrad region, confirmed the attack in a statement on Telegram, saying that the mother and one of the children had been hospitalized.
“A difficult night for the Kirovohrad region. An enemy drone hit a high-rise building in Dolynska,” Raikovych wrote, sharing images of flames pouring out of the building’s windows.

Russia has not yet commented on the incident. However, both Moscow and Kyiv have previously denied targeting civilians in the nearly three-year-long war, despite thousands of civilian casualties, the majority of whom are Ukrainians.
The attack comes at a critical moment, as top Russian and US officials meet in Saudi Arabia for discussions on ending the war. Notably, Ukraine and its European allies are not participating in the talks.
