Phyna Demands Justice for her Sister
Actress Kate Henshaw and BBNaija star of season 7 Phyna are calling for justice after a truck allegedly hit Phyna’s younger sister in Auchi, Edo State, leaving her with life-threatening injuries just six days after she graduated.
The victim, whose name has not been disclosed, lost one leg in the accident and may lose the other. The truck driver reportedly did not stop after the incident but was later caught by a lecturer who witnessed the crash and pursued him.
Phyna expressed anger over the situation, accusing the police of removing the truck’s number plate and prioritising the driver’s protection over the victim’s condition. She said her immediate concern was her sister’s survival, but vowed to return to the matter until justice was served.

Henshaw also condemned the handling of the case, alleging that the police were preventing the victim’s family and fellow students from accessing the truck, which was in their custody. She urged the authorities to ensure accountability and criticised the removal of the licence plate.
Both public figures have called on the Nigerian police to act swiftly, insisting that those responsible must face the law.
